...I'm not seeing it. And are these just examples of your spriting artwork? Because some of them don't really look like sprites, they look more like fusions.

the third one from the right has chimchars head on flygons body...

seems as you understand how sprites work and how to paint them. So why don't you create your own creature instead of mixing pokemon?, i'm sure you can do a good job on this. You can also make sprites for creations in this website that haven't yet! Try if you want to make a sprite for papillon's evolution, i was thinking about a fat worm that carries a cocoon made of leafs, but i haven't managed to design a good shape yet.

Ok here is Wyrmnoid (Wyrm and Crabniod) The Heat sensory pokemon. It uses its three teeth to Detect heat in the air. It can tell the difference in the temp up to a mile away.
(Dragon/fire type)

Gareed the Pretty pokemon. (Grass) it Beauty is overwhelming, However becuase it is so easy to spot most wild ones found are the ugly ones that survive.
Remare the Lucid dream pokemon. It is only seen by people who have Lucid Dreams. To dream of seeing this pokemon will mean you will find it. (Dark/Psi)
Terracruel the Land Squid pokemon, Scintest Theroyize in the future that Tentacruel may become a land Dwelling pokemon (Poision Ground) Evolved from Tentacruel while Lvl up near Prehistoric rocks

Emberpolly the Pillbug pokemon (Fire/ground) it is found under logs where is eats them for fuel.
Chimploo the Seamonky pokemon. (Water Fighting) If indangered it can create a thick mist that will suffocate its enemey.

A lot of those sprites are good, but the best ones have parts taken out of others. You have to learn how to scratch effectively. For example, this one...



...has some irregular outlines. You notice how the outline has varying thickness? You have to make it only one pixel thick all along the outline. Also, it has little to no shading. Find out where the light source is coming from, and make the sprite darker along the opposite side of the body. Also make parts of the outline a lighter shade where the shading isn't as dark. The outline shouldn't be plain black all across.

Never was any good for shading for the second batch other then emberpolly what pokemon parts of others in it (I guess Teracruel but only the mouth tentacules.) Also if anyone wants to shade them go ahead, I am more of a idea man, Concept art if you will.
